I've been a PC gamer since the early 2000s and have moved my save files across more motherboards, fresh Windows installs, and console upgrades than I'd like to admit. Losing a 100-hour save to a botched migration once is enough to make anyone obsessive about knowing exactly where the files live. How we verify save paths

  1. Paths are drawn from the game's own files, publisher/Steam documentation, and cross-checked against community reports (subreddits, Steam forums, PCGamingWiki).
  2. Windows paths use real environment variables (%USERPROFILE%, %APPDATA%, %LOCALAPPDATA%) so they resolve on any account.
  3. Where a path is community-reported and not yet independently confirmed, we say so rather than guess.
