Cloud saves
The Steam version can use Steam Cloud, and a SteamCloud key in options.ini (same Documents folder) decides whether the live save is the local one or the cloud copy at Steam\userdata\<SteamID>\250900\remote. If unlocks look wrong after switching PCs, keep the copy with the most unlocks and let it sync up.
How to open the save folder
- Press Win + R to open the Run box.
- Type %userprofile%\Documents\My Games and press Enter.
- Open Binding of Isaac Repentance (or Repentance+).
- Copy the rep_persistentgamedata*.dat files somewhere safe before reinstalling or modding.
Save problems & fixes
