Here's exactly where Satisfactory stores your factory saves on PC, how to open the folder, and how to back them up.

Cloud saves
On PC, Satisfactory uses Steam Cloud (or Epic cloud), so your .sav factories sync across machines. If a cloud and local save conflict after offline play, pick the newer one so you don't lose factory progress.
How to open the save folder
- Press Win + R to open the Run box.
- Type %localappdata% and press Enter.
- Open FactoryGame > Saved > SaveGames.
- Copy the whole save folder somewhere safe before editing, modding, or moving PCs.
