Full path: C:\Users\<YourName>\AppData\LocalLow\Redbeet Interactive\Raft\User\User_<SteamID>\World . The User_ folder is named with your Steam ID.

Cloud saves
Raft uses Steam Cloud. Let the cloud sync finish before you copy or restore a save so a later sync doesn't overwrite your backup. You can also open the folder in-game via Load World → Open Save Folder Path.
How to open the save folder
- Press Win + R to open the Run box.
- Paste %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Redbeet Interactive\Raft\User and press Enter (LocalLow is hidden).
- Open your User_<SteamID> folder, then copy the whole thing somewhere safe before editing or moving PCs.
Save problems & fixes
Raft save is missing or the folder is empty
You're likely in the wrong User_ folder — open the one named with your own Steam ID. If still empty, Steam Cloud may not have synced; reconnect and let it finish before launching.
Raft world won't load after an update
Copy your backup of the World folder back in, then verify integrity of game files on Steam (right-click Raft → Properties → Installed Files).
